Heating & Cooling Preventative Maintenance

HVAC Evaporator Coil Before and After
Evap Coil Before and After
In order to ensure efficiency, reliability, and safety of any HVAC system, regular maintenance is a must. Part of maintaining a piece of equipment properly is keeping the coils clean and free from any obstruction. A dirty coil on an air conditioner will have a similar effect to a blocked radiator on an automobile. The dirt prevents the unit from properly displacing heat, which causes the components to operate under increased stress – very much like trying to catch your breath after a brisk run by breathing through a straw. These systems are not designed to handle such stress, and will eventually necessitate major repairs. Cleaning an HVAC unit’s coils is a standard part of all of Frigi-Temps maintenance contracts.
